English
We have been asked by The International Centre of Martial Arts for UNESCO if we might share a little about this precious taonga of mau rākau and those who practice it, with the world. Accordingly, you are invited to take part in this short survey as part of a research project exploring the cultural and contemporary value of māu rākau in Aotearoa and beyond. Whether you’ve trained in one of the many iwi-based forms, contemporary schools, or community wānanga, whether you are young, old, male or female, your voice matters (even though we ensure that for your privacy it will remain completely anonymous)
This survey will take approximately 5–10 minutes.
We would be very grateful for your insights. Thank you. If you do wish to enter the draw to win a 200NZD supermarket voucher of your choice please do provide your email address at the bottom of the survey.
