About

This is me, Charlotte, a designer based in Pito-one, New Zealand. I have lived and worked within the Wellington area much of my career, but also spent significant time overseas, learning and developing skills and understanding in design and writing.
Hauangi was started as a wish to bring people, the environment and design together. It was formed as a way to reach into the world of self-publishing and creation, fueled by the intent to share outcomes with the community. The focus is always towards care of our land, our people and our collective future and so the work done seeks to reflect this intent at all times.
For further information about any services, please do send an email and I will give you a call back. I would love to hear from you.
Noho ora mai, Stay well.
What does Hauangi mean?
Knowledge and design have the opportunity to impact people in ways that shape their future forever. The logo features a tree shaped by the prevailing wind, the wind representing the flow of knowledge. Just as this tree, people can be shaped by their environment and opportunities given to them. Below the word Hauangi – a cool breeze speaks to the movement of these ideas, reaching out to impact the world around.
hau
- (noun – māori): the vital essence (of a person, place or object)
- (noun – māori): wind, breeze, breath
angi
(verb – māori): to move freely, to be free or without hindrance
“Charlotte is a people-person in every sense of the meaning. She is a user-focused designer, a client-focused businesswoman, and a relationship-focused colleague. Her people-centered approach to work ensures the client and their audience needs remain at the forefront of all outcomes. “
