Kia ora, tēnā koe;

Cross cultural martial arts training requires practitioners to learn te
reo Māori language, aspects of Māori culture and well as to learn the
art. I have found Charlotte to be fastidiuosly studious and
passionately articulate in her approach to learning and recently
teaching of TUMA mau taiaha mau rākau.

TUMA has reaped the benefits of her intelligence, her practice and
her skills. Her technical and design qualities are evident in TUMA’s
recently published guidebook.

Her German culture, her Kiwi culture and now her learned Māori
culture, all seems to meld into an awesome human.

Charlotte will do well with TUMA as TUMA will do well with
Charlotte.”

Some questions for you…..

What stood out for you most in this example?

Is there a similar approach to any projects that you are tackling that could be applied in your field?

Have you any thoughts on how we could further reach out to target markets to ensure knowledge is shared?

What are some other considerations than come to mind for you?
